Our Staff

John Alexander Takacs, DMD

Dr. Alex Takacs has always dreamed of opening a dental practice in Philadelphia. His family has lived in South Philly for nearly a century and he is very eager to serve the people that make up this vibrant community. Our practice name is DeLisi Dental in honor of Dr. Takacs's grandfather, Jack DeLisi.

Dr. Takacs completed his Bachelor Degree in Biology from Villanova University in 2008 and graduated from Temple's Kornberg School of Dentistry in 2013. He practiced in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and Medford, New Jersey before moving to South Philadelphia with his wife, Cait, and their two dogs, Leo and Luigi. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association and the SJDA.

Dr. Takacs feels very fortunate to take over this practice and looks forward to exceeding your expectations. His goal is to provide you with superior dental care in a fun, respectful environment. He takes pride in forming genuine relationships with his patients and treating them like family. He looks forward to providing your dental care.
